Lyft Customer Service
About Lyft Lyft is a San Francisco transport network company launched in June 2012. Via its mobile app, it connects its customers to the nearby drivers. Basically, it is a taxi service, but it is much more convenient and quicker than regular taxi companies. Lyft competes with such networks as Uber, Haxi, and Fasten.
Lyft is currently available throughout hundreds of US cities. Around December 2017, the company plans to expand its network into Canada to compete with Uber.
That’s it for the general stuff. As for the feature that will form the basis of our article today, the Lyft customer service, you will realize that it has a brilliant support team, along with a few hitches here and there. Let’s now examine it so you know what we mean.
Being a transport network company with thousands of drivers across the United States, Lyft offers the following
services: · Passenger transportation – Lyft has a network of drivers in all major cities of the United States as well as near its airports. So whether you need a ride in the city, to get to airport, or need a car to pick you up, Lyft can help you with it.
Employee transportation – The company collaborates with businesses to help them with providing their employees with means of transportations and managing their transport costs, thanks to Lyft centralized tools.
Lyft hires qualified drivers and offers several income earning programs. How to Contact Lyft Support Lyft support can indeed be quite tricky. Although there is a once-working phone number (855-865-955) floating around on the internet, it no longer connects you directly with the customer care service of the company. Instead, it just redirects you to their help.lyft.com.
While you cannot contact Lyft directly, there is a way that allows you to get them call you. This can be done via the “Call Me”feature, which can be found on the following Lyft pages:
- Report an accident, safety incident, or citation
- Temporary authorizations
- Lost and found
- Promotions, ride discounts, and Lyft credit
After you submit your phone number, a Lyft customer care agent will call you. Agents usually contact the customers
on the same day, but don’t expect an instant response. You should use the “Call Me “feature for urgent issues, otherwise, you should use the contact form at help.lyft.com
Speaking of the contact form, this is the primary way of reaching the customer service. If you cannot find your
issue in the help section, just click the “Contact Support” button at the bottom of the page. The response will come via email in around one day. You may then start corresponding with Lyft via the same thread of email. Another way to request Lyft support is through their mobile app, which you can do in the Ride History menu. From there, one thing you could do is request a refund from the company.
you could address via the app is restoring a lost item. If the ride you have lost the item on has been no more than 72 hours ago, look for a “contact
driver” button in the Ride History and coordinate a meeting with him. Otherwise, you would have to select “I lost an item” and then follow the form. If you lost your phone, you can contact Lyft from their help center, as described above.
Customer Service Contact Information Lyft has no mailing& email address or a working phone number featured on their website, although you may find them online. But you can’t be sure that they are legit. Pretty much, the only way you can contact them is via the app or help.lyft.com.

Customer Reviews of Lyft Customer Service
Lyft customers have mostly praised the Lyft customer service, although there have been some rude or unhelpful
agents here and there. The support is rather quick and is capable of resolving any issues and answering any customer questions. A downside of the service is that it takes some extra steps to reach to them.
